PRISM President Communications

Dear PRISM Members,

I’m excited to announce and provide you with the latest information regarding PRISM and the PRISM 2026 Conference.

This year, PRISM 2026 will be held in San Diego, CA, at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina, May 17 - 20, 2026.  San Diego is one of the best waterfront cities in the U.S., blending a working harbor, a long, palm-lined pedestrian promenade hugging the bay, historic ships, and the USS Midway Museum.

Membership

Our annual membership and renewal drive has just started and runs through January 31, 2026.  Each fund must have an active PRISM membership to register for the 2026 conference. If you have not yet renewed your PRISM membership, you can do so by visiting PRISM Member Dues.

As PRISM continues to grow, we are investing in automation across our conference app, CVENT, and website functionality.  Registration is open now via the PRISM CVENT website.  Conference material will be available in the CVENT app.  More information regarding registration will be coming soon!

2026 Annual Conference

The 2026 PRISM Conference will be held May 17 through May 20, 2026, in San Diego, CA, at The Sheraton Hotel and Marina.  The early bird member conference registration fee is $1,299 until Monday, March 29, 2026, 11:59 pm PST.  This includes the three-day conference with keynote speakers and breakout sessions each day, as well as evening events on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.  Registration after March 29, 2026, will be $1,699.  The guest fee will be $300 and includes all three evening events (no breakfast or lunch).

Hotel registration will close on April 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST.

As most of you know, the heart of our conference every year is our breakout sessions and panel discussions.  This is where you, as members, share successes, lessons learned, and challenges from projects and initiatives you have been working on.  Thank you to all who have volunteered to speak this year.  If you’re interested in presenting, please reach out to President-Elect Geoffrey Young and see if there are spots still available.

In addition, we will also continue the extremely popular “Birds of a Feather” Sessions on the last day of the conference. These facilitated sessions focus on topics important to our membership, allowing everyone in the session to share experiences and lessons learned and ask questions of the group in an informal setting. We would love to hear from you. Please share any specific topics you would like to see, and we will do our best to add them.  Last year, these sessions were facilitated by PRISM members. If you’re interested in facilitating a session, reach out to Geoffrey Young.

Conference Hotel

This year's conference hotel is The Sheraton Hotel and Marina. We have negotiated a conference room rate of $269/night (plus tax & fees).  Be sure to register for the conference and make your hotel reservations early to ensure you secure an on-site room.

The deadline for the reduced reservation rate is Monday, March 29, 2026, 11:59 pm PST.

Hotel Reservation Link:  Reserve Room Now

Hotel registration will close on April 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST.
The registration link will lock, the PRISM negotiated rate will end, and any unused reserved rooms will be released.

Evening Events

PRISM’s evening networking events are a highlight of the conference. We are sharing some details early this year to help with your planning.
We’ve expanded the Sunday night reception to include an on-site live performance and entertainment in the Sheraton EvenTide ballroom overlooking the bay. Seating starts at 6:00 PM, the show runs from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and the event ends at 10:00 PM. Heavy appetizers and beverages will be provided throughout the event. As with all PRISM networking events, attire is relaxed casual, and you can come and go as you please.
Monday night’s networking event will be off-site, with bus service provided, departing the hotel at 6:00 pm. Tuesday’s event is at 6:00 pm and is within walking distance, but limited shuttle transportation will also be provided. (Unfortunately, we were unable to secure the USS Midway for an event.)

Membership Meeting

On Tuesday afternoon during the conference, we will have our annual Member Business Meeting.  This meeting is important because elections are being held for Board of Directors positions and PRISM Officers. This year, we have several positions up for election, including:

If you would like to run for one of these positions, please email the PRISM Secretary, Leslie Pouilliard, by April 17, 2026.

If you have an interest or questions about any of these positions, please send an email to info@prism-assoc.org, and the appropriate Board member will contact you to answer your questions. We would love to hear from you!

Sponsors

PRISM values our members and sponsors, and we believe it is important to evaluate sponsors annually to ensure they remain relevant to our membership’s current and emerging information technology needs.  Therefore, if you are currently working with a vendor whose product or service is relevant to our information technology needs and industry, please email PRISM District Directors Darius Nagal and Jennifer Whitman, and they will be happy to contact them about sponsoring PRISM in 2026.
