“Quack, Quack” PRISM Members!!

It’s hard to believe we have just started 2025!  I hope everyone had a successful and productive 2024 and is off to a great start in 2025.  As we enter the new year, I’m excited to announce and provide you with the latest information regarding PRISM and the 2025 PRISM Conference. 

This year, PRISM 2025 will be held in Memphis, TN at The Peabody Memphis Hotel, April 13 - 16, 2025. 

The Peabody Memphis is legendary for its charm, elegance, gracious hospitality, and rich history. This Memphis icon, opened in 1869, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is world-famous for its five resident Mallard ducks, who march daily through the lobby.

Membership  

Our annual membership and renewal drive has just started and runs through January 31, 2025.  Each fund must have an active membership with PRISM to register for the 2025 conference. If you have not yet renewed your PRISM membership, you can do so by visiting PRISM Member Dues.  

As PRISM continues to grow, we continue to invest in automation with our conference app, CVENT and functionality for our website.  Registration is open now via the PRISM CVENT website.  Conference material will be available in the CVENT app.  More information regarding registration will be coming soon!

2025 Annual Conference 

The 2025 PRISM Conference will be held April 13 through April 16, 2025, in Memphis, TN at The Peabody Memphis Hotel.  The early bird member conference registration fee is $1,299 until March 10, 2025.  This includes the three-day conference with keynote speakers and breakout sessions each day, as well as evening events on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.  Registration after March 10, 2025, will be $1,499.  The guest fee will be $300 and includes all three evening events (no breakfast).  Registration will close April 17, 2025. 

As most of you know, the heart of our conference every year is our breakout sessions and panel discussions.  This is where you, as members, share successes, lessons learned and challenges from projects and initiatives you have been working on.  Keith Badalamente has sent out a few “call for speakers” requests, and from what I understand had a great response.  If you’re interested in presenting, please reach out to Keith and see if there are spots still available. 

In addition, we will also continue the extremely popular “Birds of a Feather” Sessions on the last day of the conference. These facilitated sessions focus on specific topics important to our membership, allowing everyone in the session to share experiences, lessons learned, and ask questions of the group in an informal setting. We would love to hear from you, please share any specific topics you would like to see, and we will do our best to get them added.  In the past these sessions have been facilitated by PRISM Board members, but this year we’ve asked the membership to lead them.  If you’re interested, reach out to Keith Badalamente. 

Conference Hotel  

The conference hotel this year is The Peabody Memphis Hotel in Memphis, TN.  We have negotiated a conference room rate of $265/night (plus tax).  Be sure to register for the conference and make your hotel reservations early to ensure you get a room onsite.  The rooms are limited so members are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible. The deadline for reserving these rates is March 10, 2025.

Membership Meeting  

On Tuesday afternoon during the conference, we will have our annual Member Business Meeting.  This meeting is important as elections are held for Board of Director positions and for PRISM Officers. This year we have several positions up for elections, including:

• Seeking Re-election: Yes
• West District Director (2-year Term)
• Incumbent: Darius Nagal
• Current Term Expires: April 2025
• Seeking Re-election: Yes

• President Elect (1-year Term) – candidate must have served on the PRISM Board prior to running for this position
